Ceva informații despre proiect: Entrepreneurship in rural tourism sector for youth with disabilities 2 The project aims: 1. to ensure engagement of the youth (incl. those with disabilities) from rural areas to active social and public life, providing them with new opportunities for becoming financially and socially independent by means of entrepreneurship tools and starting their own business in agritourism in the place of their residence; 2. to provide the skill of professionalization to youth workers, incl. the disabled in the field of social entrepreneurship in rural tourism using the program tools and materials (Manual) elaborated within on-going ERTSYD project in order to promote conducting similar trainings at the local and national level for disabled youth and their families on how to start one’s own business in the rural tourism sector. The extensive series of project activities: capacity building (working meetings, conferences, videos) plus mobility ones (trainings for youth, youth exchange) will promote engagement of disabled youth from rural areas in an active social life and enable them to start their own business in the agritourism sector, whilst making the appropriate services in this area accessible for the disabled consumers. The project objectives include: 1) Organisation and participation in transnational meetings between project partners for implementation and coordination purposes in Ukraine and Moldova. 2) Organisation of the Youth exchange in Ukraine involving 36 young people (20 those with disabilities) for sharing the best practices in rural tourism and entrepreneurship. 3) Organisation of 4 trainings – one in each country, involving 96 participanrs (24 participants in the training, 6 new participants from each country in each training), incl. 48 persons with disabilities. We want to conduct 4 trainings with the same program in 4 countries in order to allow each country to have experience working with a group of people with disabilities, most of whom will be foreigners, to assess the availability of infrastructure and understand what needs to be corrected in the country. After the trainings, participants will be able to turn to the trainers for advice through a web form, posted on the project site and by telephone. 4) Preparation of five-minute video by each participating country translated to English, Ukrainian, Moldavian, German and Georgian. They will be based on best practices used by their country providing services in rural tourism industry by people with disabilities. The videos will be presented during the trainings and at the final conferences. 5) Organisation of the Conferences on the results of the project in each partner country (60 persons in each event, 180 persons in total). The participants invited will be representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities and officials of the state, regional employment centers responsible for the development of entrepreneurship and tourism. Presented at each of the conferences will be the experience of the country itself for the development of entrepreneurship among youth with disabilities in rural areas through tourism and the ways of introduction of EU standards (case study of Germany) in post-soviet countries. 6) Organisation of press conferences for dissemination of the results of project in each partner country. We will provide technical support and updating of the web-site on inclusive tourism created in the ERTSYD project. All information will be available to people with visual impairments because of the ability to voice the text or increase print and change the contrast. The project aims to engage the disabled youth from rural areas to active social and public life, providing them with new opportunities for becoming financially and socially independent by means of entrepreneurship tools and starting their own business in agritourism in the place of their residence; to provide the skill of professionalization to youth workers, incl. the disabled in the field of social entrepreneurship in rural tourism using the program tools and materials (Manual) elaborated within on-going ERTSYD project in order to promote conducting similar trainings at the local and national level for disabled youth and their families on how to start one’s own business in the rural tourism sector. The idea for the current project proposal has arisen for the necessity of logical continuation of the activities within the ERTSYD project (2017-2019) being implemented by the consortium of 6 countries (Ukraine, Poland, Portugal, Latvia, Georgia and Moldova). The issue of social inclusion of the disabled is becoming more and more urgent today and should be given more visibility at the transnational level with the aim of reaching more targets, beneficiaries and stakeholders. Current proposal envisages a considerable increase in the number of participants involved, incl. those with disabilities (from 12 to 48 in the trainings). To provide the sustainability of the results already achieved and to give new impetus to capacity building activities in the field of youth, we have developed this project proposal by the consortium of 4 reliable and time-proved partners (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Germany). All project partners have contributed to writing the application form and will be involved in active implementing the project. Most partners have conducted EVS and youth mobility projects with partners from EaP and have experience in transcontinental mobility initiatives.
